Asin on tour in Canada

"Maalat Pa Rin!" Part 3

Tinalakay nina Lollita Carbon at Pendong Aban ng Asin kung paano nagbago ang folk music sa Pilipinas mula noong 1970s, at kung ano pa ang nais nilang maabot bilang mga musikero.

By the way Ben... You sound like an American speaking Tagalog not Cubao. It's funny though because your Tagalog writing is perfect.

I think you talk english too many often than tagalog that's why you have that accent. It's better than me cause I speak two different Filipino languages and still having problems with my english accent.

Hi Benjamin,

I like your interviews of Apl De Ap and Asin. At last I got answers for questions like- how did Asin's lyrics end up in Black Eyed Peas Album, and who're the artists behind those classic, original, progressive pinoy music of Asin. It was sad to learn that one of their talented members passed away in such a random circumstance.

Also, Pendong's reaction when he discovered that part of their music was used by another artist, without getting prior permission reminded me of the generous and unmaterialistic nature of Pinoys.

Thanks for your work , and would you mind if I link this site in my blog?
