What's Rodis saying? He doesn't know what he's talking about. The efforts to undermine is directed solely to Gloria Arroyo. People want her to either resign, be impeaned or ousted through a coup. There's no problem in the nature of the gov't, in fact, what is undermining her is her own military! There is no clamor for a different kind of gov't. Where did he get that idea?

Substantial allegation of cheating by Bush? Why is there a "Garci tapes" also in the US wherein you can hear Bush talking about fixing the elections? What is Rodis talking about? Does he have an evidence against Bush comparable to the Garci tapes to say all those things?

What does mean by "expectation"? Of course, people will have expectation with the leaders. That's a given and if their leaders will not live up to it demoralization and mistrusts seeps in. Even if one has "no expectation" you are bound to change your view of things.

interesting views, with almost no semblance of any contrast, by 2 offshore-based Pinoys.

Mr. Gutierrez is at a standstill, obviously groping as to what position to take on various forces' clamor to oust the pretender in Malacanan. This 'rationalization' posturing is precisely what keeps politicians do the same act all over again, keenly aware that Pinoy intellectual(s) does not put their money where their mouth is! Meantime, people's agony is not only being kept prolonged, it is made worse as each day passes.

As to the question, who is going to replace the usurper is not only oxymoronic, it carries as well a tinge of insult on the other 85 million Pinoys.

In case you don't know it yet, your interviewer is a mile better off as an alternative compared to what we have now.

Suya. What is next, move on ?!
